Saab Digital Air Traffic Solutions Receives NATO Air Base Order

Saab Digital Air Traffic Solutions SDATS, has received an order to install a digital tower at NATO air base in Geilenkirchen, Germany.
- It is positive that SDATS has signed an agreement with Geilenkirchen. There is a great interest in remote traffic services, RTS, around the world. This deal paves the way for new customer groups, says Ann Persson Grivas, Director General LFV.
NATO Air Base Geilenkirchen will use the digital tower for live operations during the refurbishment of the current control tower. This is the first order for an operational digital air traffic control tower at a military air base. Delivery will take place in 2020.
