Locations
LFV provides air traffic management and air navigation services at 16 airports and four control centers in Sweden. LFV's control of the air traffic in Swedish airspace contributes to a safe, efficient and environmentally sound traffic flow. Our air traffic controllers ensure that aircrafts do not collide with each other or any other obstacles in the air or on the ground.
RTC Stockholm is LFV's new control centre for remote tower services. On June 1st 2021 LFV commissioned the new remote tower centre, RTC Stockholm, for remote air-traffic control at some of Swedavia’s airports. The first airport to be connected to the centre was Kiruna Airport.
At the description of every airport you'll find the airports ICAO-code. ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) is an organization under United Nations. Every airport in the world has an ICAO-code, eg ESSA=Europe Sweden Stockholm Arlanda.

Skaraborg Air Force Wing F7
Skaraborg Air Force Wing F7 is situated at the southeast corner of Sweden's largest lake, Vänern. The wing was established in 1940 and has since then been one of The Swedish Armed Forces most important wings.

Linköping Malmen
Linköping Malmen Airport has a long history, going back to the 1910s. The airport was inagurated in 1927 and is owned by The Swedish Armed Forces. The tower was built in 1980 and is 30 meters high. Two runways, 2200 meters and 1950 meters.

Karlsborg
Karlsborg is a military airport, adapted for The Swedish Armed Forces and its aircrafts and helicopters. It was reopened back in 2007, 13 years after the close-down of Air Force Wing F6.
ESCM
Uppsala Air Base
The airport was opened in 1943 and is located northwest of Uppsala. It is a base of the Swedish Air Force and the home of the Uppland Air Force Wing (F 16). The tower was built in 1984 and is 20 meters high. Two runways, both just around 2000 meters long.
ESPE
Vidselbasen
Vidsel airport is a military airport, established 1958. A new modern tower was taken in operation in 2017. The runway is 2230 meters long.

ATCC Malmö
The control centre is located nearby Malmö Airport. From ATCC Malmö air traffic in the southern part of Sweden is controlled. The major part of the traffic controlled by ATCC Malmö just passes Swedish airspace on their way to an destination outside Sweden.
ESOS
ATCC Stockholm
LFV's control centre ATCC Stockholm is located nearby Stockholm Arlanda Airport. From ATCC Stockholm air traffic in the middle and northern part of Sweden is controlled. At ATCC Stockholm you'll also find LFV's Flight Planning Centre, FPC.
ESSR
RTC Stockholm
RTC Stockholm, or Remote Tower Center Stockholm, is LFV's new building for remote tower services. On June 1st 2021 LFV commissioned RTC Stockholm for remote air-traffic control at some of Swedavia’s airports. The first airport to be connected to the centre was Kiruna Airport and the second Åre Östersund on December 1st. During year 2022 two more airports will be connected - Umeå Airport and Malmö Airport.

Östgöta Control Center
Östgöta Control Center, or ÖKC, is situated nearby Norrköping airport. From here LFV's air traffic controllers operates both civilian and military air traffic in the region.
